About us

We are a Church that is Committed to Serving Others and Loving God

St. Mark’s Church Korangi is a part of the Diocese of Karachi and Balochistan. We are a community that seeks to love and follow Jesus. Each member possesses unique gifts and talents that enrich our diverse community, making it welcoming for people to learn, grow, serve, and find a sense of home.
We believe that every person is a valuable member of our family, and our church fosters a welcoming environment where everyone who walks through our doors is greeted with open hearts and feels respected and content.
Our goal is to help people grow in faith, deepen relationships with God, and strengthen connections to the Church and with one another.

Our History

St. Mark’s Church Korangi was blessed and inaugurated on Friday, May 27th, 1988, by the former Church of Pakistan Bishop of Karachi, the Rt. Reverend Arne Rudvin. It was a very historic and memorable day that we will always treasure. Since then, our beloved church has grown and flourished remarkably, with several additions to the interior, external decor, and above the altar. We are grateful for all our accomplishments, from expanding our facilities to welcoming new members into our community. We believe that there is endless potential for growth and accomplishment in our future.

Our Bishop

Bishop Fredrich John

Rev. Bishop Fredrick John serving as bishop of the Diocese of Karachi & Balochistan Church of Pakistan. He was appointed as Bishop in 2021 and we are blessed to have him as our shepherd. Under his guidance, our church has flourished, embracing new initiatives and we continue to strive towards greater excellence, thanks to his unwavering commitment to our congregation.

Dedicated to Vanessa and Henry

I dedicate this website in loving memory of my beloved sister and brother, Vanessa Vania and Henry Muryan, who tragically passed away at a young age in an accident. It is my heartfelt prayer that everyone who visits this site gets the solace and healing they’re seeking to face life’s problems.

May God protect and bless you.
